Relative Theories

Everyone is looking to separate themselves from the herd. We are innately unique from birth. We all possess qualities that are custom made. Figuring out those qualities is what allows us to bring forth our inner light.

To judge someone's struggle solely based on the depths they've risen from is shortsighted. Whether someone walked from across the country or walked up a flight of stairs, it doesn't tell the whole story. What's left out is what they endured during that journey. The cross-country journeyman may be an Olympic track and field competitor who encounters no bad weather or serious obstacles on his trek. While the stair climber weighed 500 pounds, had bad knees, and the stairwell was narrow. Which feat was greater? Depends on your perspective. What matters is that they accepted a challenge by taking that first step.

The first step is critical. We as humans spend so much time deciphering signs or contemplating who, what, when, where, or how to go about starting anything. Is it right for me? Is it meant for me? How much will it cost? Yes these are all good questions. At the same time, all these questions can be answered better once you start that journey by taking that first step. The universe has a way of letting you know, once you've begun, whether or not this decision was a good one.
